Constance L. Gentry

Constance L. Gentry, age 87, of West Grove, Pennsylvania, passed away on March 21, 2023, at Christiana Hospital surrounded by her loving family.  Born in Coatesville, PA, she was the daughter of Walter MacDonald and Viola (Riale) MacDonald.  She was the spouse of the late Bob Gentry with whom she shared 62 years of marriage.   

Connie worked as a nurse’s aide at Pocopson Home in West Chester, PA, for 45 years and retired in 2012.  She enjoyed doing puzzles, going to flea markets, and traveling.  Connie loved anything related to Disney world, Disney movies, or Disney characters.  She loved life, her family, doing yard-work, and the TV show, “Survivor.”  

Connie is survived by her two sons, Barry Gentry of Coatesville, PA; and Terry Gentry (Judy) of West Grove, PA.  She is also survived by her granddaughter, Tara Stanley (Brandon) of Tennessee; and 4 great grandchildren, Skyler, Alexis, Alyssa, and Brandon Jr.  In addition to her parents and her husband, Connie is predeceased by her sister, Bonnie Schoshinski.
