Felicitas Bernal Bernal, de 93 años de edad, falleció en paz el 30 de octubre de 2026, en el Hospital Christiana, en Newark, Delaware, mientras se encontraba visitando a su familia en Pensilvania. Fue la amada esposa de Raúl Castañeda, con quien compartió 69 hermosos años de matrimonio. Nació en Coatepec Harinas, México, y fue hija de los ya fallecidos Faustino Bernal y Emilia Bernal.

Felicitas fue una esposa dedicada, una madre amorosa, abuela y bisabuela. Su familia siempre fue el centro de su vida, y encontraba su mayor felicidad al estar rodeada de las personas que amaba. Fue una mujer humilde, noble, alegre y cariñosa, con un corazón bondadoso que demostraba su amor a través de las pequeñas cosas que hacía cada día por su familia.

Disfrutaba cocinar, pasar tiempo en el campo con sus animales y compartir momentos especiales con sus hijos y demás familiares. Apreciaba las cosas sencillas de la vida y dejó innumerables recuerdos que su familia llevará por siempre en el corazón.

Felicitas siempre será recordada por sus hermosos ojos azules, su espíritu tranquilo y noble, su humildad y el amor y la calidez que brindaba a quienes la rodeaban. Su presencia daba consuelo a su familia, y su bondad dejó una huella imborrable en varias generaciones.

Será profundamente extrañada por su presencia amorosa, su fortaleza, su gran corazón y todas esas pequeñas cosas que la hacían tan especial. Aunque su familia sentirá profundamente su ausencia, continuará llevando su amor, sus enseñanzas y su recuerdo en el corazón. La hermosa vida que vivió y todo el amor que brindó permanecerán presentes en su familia por muchas generaciones.

A Felicitas le sobreviven sus hijos, nietos, bisnietos, hermanos y muchos otros familiares y amigos que la amaron profundamente.

Familiares y amigos están invitados a acompañar a la familia de Felicitas el miércoles 11 de Noviembre de 2026, de 5:30 a 6:30 p. m., en la Iglesia Católica San Roque, ubicada en 333 Sunnydell Road, Avondale, PA 19311. Su Misa empieza a las 6:30.

Posteriormente, sus restos serán trasladados a México, donde recibirá sepultura.

Su amor, su bondad y los recuerdos de toda una vida permanecerán para siempre en el corazón de quienes tuvieron la dicha de conocerla y amarla.

Felicitas Bernal Bernal, age 93, passed away peacefully on October 30, 2026, at Christiana Hospital in Newark, Delaware, while visiting her family in Pennsylvania. She was the beloved wife of Raúl Castañeda, with whom she shared 69 beautiful years of marriage. Born in Coatepec Harinas, Mexico, she was the daughter of the late Faustino Bernal and Emilia Bernal.

Felicitas was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her family was always at the center of her life, and she found her greatest happiness in being surrounded by the people she loved. She was a humble, gentle, joyful, and caring woman with a kind heart who showed her love through the little things she did for her family each day.

She enjoyed cooking, spending time in the countryside with her animals, and sharing special moments with her children and other family members. She appreciated the simple things in life and left behind countless memories that her family will carry in their hearts forever.

Felicitas will always be remembered for her beautiful blue eyes, her calm and gentle spirit, her humility, and the love and warmth she brought to those around her. Her presence brought comfort to her family, and her kindness left a lasting impression on several generations.

She will be deeply missed for her loving presence, her strength, her generous heart, and all the little things that made her so special. Although her family will deeply feel her absence, they will continue to carry her love, her teachings, and her memory in their hearts. The beautiful life she lived and all the love she gave will remain with her family for generations to come.

Felicitas is survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, and many other relatives and friends who loved her deeply.

Family and friends are invited to join Felicitas’ family on Wednesday, November 11, 2026, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at St. Rocco Catholic Church, located at 333 Sunnydell Road, Avondale, PA 19311. The Mass will begin at 6:30.

Following the service, her remains will be transported to Mexico, where she will be laid to rest.

Her love, kindness, and a lifetime of beautiful memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who were blessed to know and love her.
