Francis B. Krzywicki, age 96, of Landenberg, Pennsylvania, passed away on December 11, 2025. He was the spouse of the late Helen (Chessock) Krzywicki, with whom he shared 59 years of marriage. Born in Forty Fort, PA, he was a son of the late Stanley Krzywicki and the late Helen Bogudzewska Krzywicki.
Francis received a degree in accounting from Wilkes College in Wilkes-Barre, PA. After college he moved to Wilmington, DE, to work at the DuPont Company. While living in Wilmington he met his wife Helen Chessock and the two of them were married and raised their 5 children together. While they were growing up, Francis actively supported his children in their sports and extracurricular activities.
In his spare time, Francis was an avid vegetable gardener and grew much of his and his family’s food over the years. He enjoyed woodworking and crossword puzzles and was a passionate Philadelphia sports fan, cheering on the Phillies and the Eagles season after season. Above all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Francis was a long-time parishioner of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in West Grove, PA, and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He volunteered and offered his time to the church in a variety of ways over the years.
Francis is survived by his children, Mike Krzywicki, Matthew Krzywicki (Sandra), Denise Sinigaglio (Mike), and Carol Wilson; his grandchildren, Scott Wollaston (Megan), Laura Chandler, Carrie Scallan (Ross), Jenn Krzywicki, Michelle Krzywicki (Chris), Amanda Harley (Mark), Lizzy Krzywicki (Kalil), Stephen Sinigaglio (Sydney), Allison Sinigaglio, Renee Hihn (Matt), Ryan Wilson (Anna), and Jerad Wilson (Gretchen); his great-grandchildren, Gus, Charlie, Kylie, Maddy, Winston, Grady, Hudson, Owen, Hannah, Mila, and Remy. In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by his daughter Mary Wollaston; his daughter-in-law, Terry O’Leary-Krzywicki; his grandson by marriage, Christopher Chandler; and his siblings, Florence Kuntz (John), Elizabeth Sianni (Anthony), Stanley Krzywicki (Rita), Maryanna Bond (Willard), Anthony Krzywicki, Paul Krzywicki, Edward Krzywicki, and John Krzywicki.
You are invited to visit with Francis's family and friends from 10:00 to 10:45 AM on Friday, January 2, 2026, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 203 Church Road, Oxford, PA 19363. His funeral mass will follow at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, 460 North Union Street, Kennett Square, PA, following the mass.
