Giuseppina S. Chiaradonna, age 83, of Coatesville, Pennsylvania, passed away on July 28, 2026, at Phoenixville Hospital in Phoenixville, PA. She was the spouse of the late Flavio Chiaradonna, with whom she shared 55 years of marriage. Born in Montella, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Carmine and Virginia Bruno.
She moved to Philadelphia in 1963 after marrying her late husband Flavio Chiaradonna. She moved with her family to a newly built home in the Kennett Square area of Chester County in 1983.
In the 90’s, Guiseppina worked in the cafeteria for the Unionville School District for many years. It was a job that she enjoyed.
In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking, sewing, and gardening, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.
She will be remembered for her generosity and great cooking.
Giuseppina is survived by her son, Ettore “Ett” Chiaradonna ; her daughter, Patricia Chiaradonna ; four grandchildren, Mario, Luca, Nicholas, and Emma; two sisters, Anna Bruno and Antonietta Bruno; and two brothers, Vincent Bruno and Salvatore Bruno. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by sisters, Rubina and Salvatrice; and brother, Fernando Bruno.
You are invited to visit with Giuseppina’s family and friends from 10:00-11:00 AM on August 4, 2026, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 212 Meredith Street, Kennett Square, PA 19348. Her Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00. Interment will follow the Mass at Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery 1600 Sproul Road, Springfield, PA 19064.
