Hunter Seamus Barrett

 Hunter Seamus Barrett, age 11 months, of West Chester, Pennsylvania, passed away suddenly on March 23, 2024, at Geisinger Hospital in Danville, PA.  Hunter was born on April 28, 2023, in Paoli, PA. He is the son of Eric Barrett and Shannon (McNamee) Barrett.  

 Hunter “Bubbas” Barrett was a “lefty” like his daddy.  He woke up each morning calling for dada and snuggling his mama. He was an expert at destroying toys and he loved his big sister, Quinn, most of all.  “Mr. Handsy,” as the family lovingly referred to him, always wanted to grab everything in his reach. He was a Casanova with the ladies at daycare. He looked forward to Quinn’s check-ins on him at The Learning Experience, where they both attended. 

 Hunter will always be remembered for his beautiful and bright smile and wonderful, curious, and easy-going personality. 

 In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sisters, Quinn and Willow (his favorite furball); his grandparents, Michael and Karen (Kurz) McNamee and James and Lynn (Kieffer) Litchard, and Paul Barrett; his aunts and uncles - Andrew McNamee and Ley Lacbawan, David and Katelyn (McNamee) Neville, Michael and Juliana (McNamee) Rappo and Suman and Kelsey (McNamee) Mohanty, Michael and Mindy (Haulman) Barrett, and Heather Barrett; his cousins Isabella McNamee, Conor and Violet Neville, Carter, Jayden and Rylee Rappo, Shylah Mohanty, and Rylan and Reese Barrett.  

 You are invited to visit Hunter’s family and friends from 1:00 – 2:00 pm on Monday, April 8, 2024, at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 10 Pleasant Grove Road, West Chester, PA 19382.  His memorial service will follow at 2:00 pm. Due to the sensitivity of the loss, we ask for this to remain a child-free gathering. Interment will be held privately. Contributions in his memory may be made to Adalyn Rose Foundation.
