Ignacio Tellez

Ignacio Tellez a.k.a Nacho, age 62, of Oxford, Pennsylvania, passed away on January 5, 2026, at Christiana Hospital in Newark, DE. He was the spouse of Rosa Tellez, with whom he shared 32 years of marriage. Born in Matugeo, Michoacan, MX, he was the eldest son of Jesus Tellez and the late Victoria Castillo Lemus who passed on 12/19/2022.

Since of the age of 17, he has been the perfect example of a hardworking man. Throughout his life, Ignacio enjoyed spending time with his loved ones, the Steelers, and good food. He will be sorely missed as a loving father, husband, an extraordinary brother, uncle, and ultimately the life of the party.

He is survived by his sons, Daniel & Erik Tellez; his siblings, Leticia, Guillermo, Edith, Maria, and Mario; his nieces, nephews, and his Furever companion, Rocky.

In addition to his mother, he was predeceased by his brothers, Luis Enrique, Miguel Angel, and Felix.

You are invited to visit with Ignacio’s family and friends from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Monday, January 12, 2026, at St. Rocco’s Catholic Church 333 Sunnydell Road, Avondale, PA 19311. His funeral mass will follow at 12:00 PM. Interment will take place at St. Patrick’s Cemetery 460 North Union Street, Kennett Square, PA 19348 following the mass.

Ignacio Téllez, también conocido como Nacho, de 62 años, de Oxford, Pensilvania, falleció el 5 de enero de 2026 en el Hospital Christiana de Newark, Delaware. Estaba casado con Rosa Téllez, con quien compartió 32 años de matrimonio. Nacido en Matugeo, Michoacán, México, era el hijo mayor de Jesús Téllez y la difunta Victoria Castillo Lemus, fallecida el 19 de diciembre de 2022.

Desde los 17 años, fue el ejemplo perfecto de un hombre trabajador. A lo largo de su vida, Ignacio disfrutó pasando tiempo con sus seres queridos, los Steelers y la buena comida. Se le echará mucho de menos como padre cariñoso, esposo, hermano extraordinario, tío y, en definitiva, como el alma de la fiesta.

Le sobreviven sus hijos, Daniel y Erik Téllez; sus hermanos, Leticia, Guillermo, Edith, María y Mario; sus sobrinas, sobrinos y su compañero para siempre, Rocky.

Además de su madre, le precedieron en la muerte sus hermanos Luis Enrique, Miguel Ángel y Félix.

Están invitados a visitar a la familia y amigos de Ignacio de 11:00 a. m. a 12:00 p. m. el lunes 12 de enero de 2026 en la iglesia católica St. Rocco's, 333 Sunnydell Road, Avondale, PA 19311. La misa fúnebre se celebrará a continuación, a las 12:00 p. m. El entierro tendrá lugar en el cementerio St. Patrick's, 460 North Union Street, Kennett Square, PA 19348, después de la misa.
