Leonard J. Casenta, III “Lenny,” 77 of West Grove, PA, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2025. Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late Leonard “Sammy” and Elvira Casenta.

A graduate of Archbishop Shanahan High School, Leonard was drafted into the Army during the Vietnam War. He was proud to serve his country and spoke about it often. Leonard had a love for music and he played music for the troops as part of the soldier show. He proudly served the community of West Grove for 30 years in the postal service industry. His love for music started at an early age and continued through his life. He played music with his brothers in a band called “The Relations,” playing at weddings and special occasions. He also performed as an Elvis impersonator. If there was a family party, you could be sure “Lenny” had everyone up singing and dancing.

Leonard was predeceased by his wife of 28 years, Carolyn, with whom he raised three sons, Greg (Robin), Mark, and Nicholas. He was predeceased by his second wife, Judith, with whom he shared a life, along with his stepson, Barry Sydenstricker (Brighid), and granddaughter, Avery. Leonard is also survived by his brother, Robert “Bobby” Casenta (Cindi); his sister-in-law, Colleen Connors Casenta; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Donald and Vicki Paisley, Randy and Paula Paisley, and Arlene Paisley. Leonard was predeceased by his brother, Michael “Mickey” Casenta.
