Leonardo Flores Mendiola

Leonardo Flores Mendiola, age 5 months, of Media, Pennsylvania, passed away on Monday, January 2, 2023, at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.  Born in West Chester, PA he was the son of Ricardo Flores and Mariela Mendiola.

Leo fue una luz brillante que brilló en los corazones de todos los que lo conocieron. Tenía una sonrisa que podía ablandar cualquier corazón y llenarlo de alegría. Su personalidad era fiel a su nombre, feroz, valiente y audaz. Peleó muchas batallas y salió victorioso. Su voluntad nunca vaciló ante la adversidad.
Leo será recordado por el amor que inspiraba en el corazón de las personas y por su sonrisa amorosa.

Leo’s was a bright light that shined in the hearts of all who knew him.  He had a smile that could soften any heart and fill them with joy. His personality was true to his name, fierce, brave, and bold. He fought many battles and came out victorious. His will never wavered in the face of adversity.

Leo will be remembered for the love that he inspired in people's hearts and for his loving smile. His passing has touched many hearts and has taught us to be brave, fierce, and bold in our everyday lives.

You are invited to visit with Leonardo’s family and friends from 11:00 am -12:00 Noon Monday, January 9, 2023, at St. Rocco Catholic Church 333 Sunny Dell Rd, Avondale, PA 19311. Leo’s funeral Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12:00 Noon.  Interment will be in St. Patrick Cemetery, Kennett Square.  Contributions can be made to the fundraiser established to help the family cover funeral and burial costs https://www.tmcfunding.com/funds/leonardo-flores-mendiola/7361/ or to St. Rocco Catholic Church.
