Peter A. Economos

Peter Andrew Economos, age 48, of Nottingham, Pennsylvania, passed away on March 11, 2023, at Christiana Hospital in Newark, DE. He was the spouse of Kelly Economos, with whom he shared 21 years of marriage. Born in Leicester, England, he was the son of Duane Economos and Dorinda Keech Economos.  Grandson to Joan Economos and was preceded in death by his grandparents Peter Economos, and Hilda and Albert Keech. 

Pete was known for being a natural entertainer with his music and his unique sense of humor. He loved playing his guitar, writing music, arts and crafts (leather and spikes), family gatherings, Fun Dip, and Pop Rocks.   

He will be remembered for his big heart, generosity, loyalty to those he loved, and his own personalized fashion.  

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Kelly and his son, Damien Economos.  He is also survived by his sisters, Nicola Economos, Donna Hicks, Debra Skain; his brother, Brian Economos (Tristian), his nephews, Matthew, Justin, Koltyn, Ryan, and Logan; and his nieces, Leeya, Sarah, Chloe, and Kaylee. On his wife’s side of the family, he is survived by his in-laws, Jim and Velma Gilles; his brothers-in-law, Tim Gilles (Shelly) and Jim Gilles (Carrie); his nephews, Tim and Trevor;  and his niece, Haley Gilles. 

You are invited to visit with Pete’s family and friends from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm on Monday, March 20, 2023, at the Oxford Church of God, 198 Barnsley Road, Oxford, PA 19363.  A funeral service will take place at 1:00 pm.
