Rebecca "Becky" Jeanne Jacobs

Rebecca “Becky” Jeanne Jacobs, age 67, of West Grove, Pennsylvania, passed away on April 11, 2023 at Union Hospital in Elkton MD. She was the wife of Bruce Jacobs, with whom she shared 43 years of marriage. Born in Erie, PA, she was a daughter of the late, Gerald Hiller and the late, Jeanne (Schuld) Hiller.  

Becky graduated from Slippery Rock College in 1977 with a degree in Special Education and earned her master's degree in education from Gratz College in 2007. She worked for many years as a special education teacher for the Bucks County IU. 

She enjoyed playing piano, animals, music, long walks, driving through the countryside, the beach, decorating, and doing crafts. She will be remembered for her love of family, caring for children with special needs, and being an amazing host. 

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her three daughters; Leighann (Kenneth) Carpenter, Meryl (Brendan) Conway, and Carlie Jacobs, along with her six grandchildren. Becky is also survived by her sister, Gerryann (David) Priest, and three nephews; Sean, Todd, and Jason, and their families.

You are invited to visit with Becky’s family and friends from 10:00-11:00AM Saturday, April 15, 2023, at the Episcopal Church of the Advent, 401 N. Union St. Kennett Square PA 19348.  A service in celebration of her life will follow at 11:00AM. Interment will be held privately.  Contributions in her memory may be made to the Kabuki Syndrome Foundation:
