Rosemarie A. Ryder

Rosemarie Ryder, age 88 passed away March 6, 2024, in Kennett Square Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of the late William Gallagher and the late Edna (Kane) Gallagher.  

Rosemarie was born in Philadelphia and grew up surrounded by a dozen aunts and uncles and their families. She moved to Newark, Delaware for her senior year and graduated from Newark High School.  After high school she went on to become a nurse.  She was a nurse for the State of Delaware and New Castle County.  She met her husband of 66 years, John E Ryder, in Wilmington.  She was an avid Philadelphia sports fan who loved gardening and feeding birds.  She enjoyed traveling and spending summers at White House Beach.
