Ruth Castañeda Flores

Ruth De Lujan Castaneda Flores, age 3 months, of Avondale, Pennsylvania, passed away on May 24, 2024, at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia in Philadelphia, PA.  Born in West Chester, PA, she was the daughter of Saul Sanchez Cortes and Yolanda Castaneda Flores. 

Ruth's life was short, but she left us a great lesson. She fought for her life every day since she was in her mother's womb and when she was born she continued fighting like a champion. She was too perfect for this world that God wanted to take her to his side. She will remain in our hearts forever. We will miss her but, we know that one day we will see her again in heaven, little Lujancita.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sisters, Ayxa and Kendra; and her twin brother, Adonai; her grandparents, Pastor Castaneda and Gloria Flores; and her aunts, Maria Castaneda Flores, Delia Castaneda Flores, and Monica Castaneda Flores; her cousins Mateo and Génesis

You are invited to visit with Ruth's family and friends from on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at St. Rocco's Catholic Church, 333 Sunny Dell Road, Avondale, PA 19311.  Her funeral mass will follow at 12:00 pm. Interment will be held at St. Patrick's Cemetery, 460 North Union Street, Kennett Square, PA 19348.

Ruth De Luján Castaneda Flores, de 3 meses de edad, de Avondale, Pensilvania, falleció el 24 de mayo de 2024 en el Hospital de niños de Filadelfia en Filadelfia, PA.  Nacida en West Chester, PA, era hija de Saúl Sánchez Cortés y Yolanda Castañeda Flores. 

La vida de Ruth fue corta, pero nos dejó una gran lección. Ella luchó por su vida todos los días desde que estaba en el vientre de su madre y cuando nació siguió luchando como una campeona. Ella era demasiado perfecta para este mundo que Dios quiso llevarla a su lado. Ella permanecerá en nuestros corazones para siempre. La extrañaremos pero sabemos que algún día la volveremos a ver en el cielo, pequeña Lujancita.

Además de sus padres, le sobreviven sus hermanas, Ayxa y Kendra; y su hermano gemelo, Adonai; sus abuelos, Pastor Castaneda y Gloria Flores; y sus tías, María Castañeda Flores, Delia Castañeda Flores y Mónica Castañeda Flores; sus primos Mateo y Génesis

Está invitado a visitar a la familia y amigos de Ruth a partir del miércoles 29 de mayo de 2024, de 11:00 a. m. a 12:00 p. m. en la Iglesia Católica San Roque, 333 Sunny Dell Road, Avondale, PA 19311. Su misa fúnebre seguirá a las 12:00 pm. El entierro se llevará a cabo en el cementerio de San Patricio, 460 North Union Street, Kennett Square, PA 19348.
