Patricia Joellen Goodall, age 70, of Lincoln University, Pennsylvania, beloved wife, Mother and Sister, passed away on Wednesday November 23, 2022 at Christiana Hospital in Newark, DE.  She was the wife of Steven R. Goodall, with whom she shared 40 years of marriage, and Mother to daughter Margo Goodall who was her whole world.

Born in Abilene, Kansas and raised in Mt. Vernon, IL and Salina, KS she was a daughter of the late James Vincent Otto and the late Loretta Roman Otto.

Patricia graduated from Kansas State University in 1976 and earned her Master’s degree in higher education and psychology from Kansas State University in 1979.  She was a member of Chi Omega Sorority.

Tricia spent most of her life serving others as a trained therapist and counselor.  Meeting the needs of others and helping them cope and become productive members of society was a constant goal of hers. Her countless hours of listening, guiding, and advising improved the lives of many of those she counseled. She was a guiding light not only to those she worked with professionally, but to her family and friends.

She did her professional work for Catholic Charities in Eatontown, NJ for many years and then the Presbyterian House of Hope in Toms River, NJ before retiring in 2012.

She was an accomplished artist, enjoyed gardening and being outdoors, and especially hiking any of the many local trail systems in Chester County.  She will be remembered as a kind soul to everyone who knew and loved her and will not soon be forgotten.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Margo Goodall of Lincoln University, PA; two sisters, Angie Robertson of St. Charles, MO; Cindy Graziano and her husband Len of Stamford, CT, and two brothers, Jim Otto and his wife Janon of Overland Park, KS and Michael Otto and his partner, Sharon Nelson of Salina, KS and numerous nieces and nephews that will remember her giving spirit, easy laughter and caring heart.
