He was the beloved husband of the late Joan (Kinsella) Walsh who passed away only 5 weeks before him and with whom he shared 64 years of marriage. Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Frank and Mary Walsh.

He is survived by three daughters, Deborah (Carmen) Giannantonio of Kennett Square, PA, Donna (Barry) Francisco of Sea Isle City, NJ, and Susan (John) Winiarski of West Grove, PA. He is also survived by six grandchildren, Greg, Julianna, Andrew, Chrissy, Jimmy and Megan.
Before moving to West Grove in 2016 to be closer to family, Tom and Joan lived in Glenolden, PA for over 56 years. He was a devout Catholic and an active parishioner at St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church in Norwood, PA and more recently, at Assumption BVM Catholic Church in West Grove, PA.
He was an Army veteran who proudly served as a radio operator during the Korean War. After his service to our country, he had a 40 year career as an accountant for the Consolidated Rail Corporation (Conrail). After retirement, he volunteered his time and talents at the Magee Rehabilitation Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.
Tom’s greatest gift to his family was his endless love, support and commitment. He enjoyed traveling with Joan, spending time with family and friends, painting, gardening, singing, dancing, and performing in local theater. He will be forever remembered for his sense of humor, positive outlook on life, amazing memory, generosity, and always being the life of the party.
